Our main emphasis is on having fun with dance as well as using it to keep fit and make new friends.

Some of our classes use the ISTD syllabus allowing those that are interested to take exams in their chosen genre with the school having a 100% pass rate. We have recently performed in Newport Amateur Theatrical Society’s pantomime Pinocchio with plans to take part again next year due to the great success of the partnership. Footlights also organise their own demonstration days and performances to give the children every chance to shine and show off all their hard work

Emma is currently on maternity leave but is still the main contact for all your enquiries.

Faye Watson is currently teaching all lessons on Emma's behalf.
Faye trained on the musical theatre course at North London Dance studios and is currently attending further courses there to come into line with the new ISTD regulations for teaching to update to the most recent requirements. Alongside working on her FDI and CDE teaching updates Faye teaches regularly for a theatre school in Hoddesdon as well as various covers for many schools in the area.

Faye shows an interest not only performing and teaching but has also been involved both front of house and backstage for theatre companies in the area.

Faye's experience and idea's will bring variety for the children in Emma's absence, Emma will be returning to lessons for the new term in September, watch out for new baby pictures and visits to the school in the meantime.
