ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Footlights Theatre Dance School has classes in Modern Theatre, Tap dance, Funky Jazz Pre-school introduction to dance, Musical Theatre and Adult Tap. With ages ranging from 3 to 18 plus our adults.

The School is run by Emma with support from her family, her mum Julie who collects fee’s and processes uniform orders. You may also see her husband Brad who’s always around to lend a helping hand when needed, along with grandparents, friends and anyone else who Emma can drag into help when it’s all hands on deck.

Emma believes in creating a fun, energetic, relaxed atmosphere for the children, and is dedicated to improving the school to provide the best she can for her students.

As well as offering unset classes the school follows a syllabus set by the examining body ISTD in Modern Theatre and Tap with the opportunity to take exams when ready.

 The school is run from three different venues;

 Newport Village Hall – Station road

Elsenham Memorial Hall – By the village playing field

Ugley Village Hall – Cambridge road
